“I received counselling from Ruth and would wholeheartedly recommend her. She has a wonderful manner, warm and soothing. I hadn’t had any counselling before and I always felt like I was in safe hands with her. She listened carefully and helped me make changes which have improved my life.”
— Molly
“I have found the sessions incredibly beneficial, mentally, I am in a much better place than I was at first. When I first started looking for a therapist, I was a little overwhelmed and felt completely out of my comfort zone but Ruth turned this experience into a positive one for me.”

My Approach
I use an integrative approach - a combination of CBT, a Psychodynamic Approach, and Person Centred Counselling. I completed my training in Therapeutic Counselling with the Counselling & Psychotherapy Central Awarding Body (CPCAB) and practice within The BACP’s Ethical Framework.
I also love to share my experiences and thoughts on counselling and wellbeing for the real world over on my Blog and YouTube channel.
Client Story
Mental illness kills more mothers in the first year postpartum than anything else and is a major contributor to breakdowns and relationship challenges after a baby. Maternal mental illnesses like postpartum depression and anxiety still carry a stigma.
