Postnatal Depression –Motherhood & How to Seek Help

Mental illness kills more mothers in the first year postpartum than anything else and is a major contributor to breakdowns and relationship challenges after a baby. Maternal mental illnesses like postpartum depression and anxiety still carry a stigma and have risen during the Covid-19 pandemic.

In this open and honest video I chat with London-based Psychotherapist, Dafina Ganeva, on all things motherhood, mental health and recognising red flags during pregnancy and as a new parent. I'd love to know what you think. Comment below and let me know your experiences and ways you've learnt to reach out for help.

From one mother to another, you're not alone and your thoughts and feelings are valid.
