Slowing Down & Pressing Pause
How often do you take a pause in your day or let yourself linger on something you love and really savour the task? In this video I dig into the idea that slowing down can actually make us stronger and by doing less we can actually achieve more with a mindful attitude to life and permission to not always be busy bees and productivity machines.
Benefits to slowing down can be feeling more in the present moment, having more empathy for our loved ones and the wider world, plus there is some much evidence that getting into our parasympathetic nervous 'rest and digest' state can help alleviate some of our physical symptoms as well, including IBS, migraines and autoimmune conditions.
